Plant/Human Duo is a concert in which sounds are generated from different plants. The project seeks the relationship between different plant vibrations and aesthetic sound results.

Under the central theme, Desire for the Useless, 40 video and moving image works by artists from around the world commented, through visual narratives, on measurement of existence in the digital age.

– how we think of cities determines how cities perform. A workshop by Arcadie Botnaru & Mădălina Ciocanu

The outcomes of the workshop will be incarnated in a collective sonic art installation titled “Coloana Sonoră Infinită” intended to reflect the idea that the city is a living body, a constantly moving assemblage, a loud symphony of human and non-human voices. 

We are looking for submissions of innovative video and moving image works related to the festival theme —Desire For The Useless, produced in the last two years (2022-2024).
The call is open for both, emerging and established artists or groups and collectives.

The 19th edition of the festival will take place between 3-6 October in Timișoara, Romania.
