The Berlin-based duo is investigating and manipulating electromagnetic fields, disclosing the noises, buzzes and murmurs of the inconspicuous machine to machine communications. Their antennas’ capture and distort the electrosmog, picking-up noises emitted by quotidian devices and fluctuations of the radio spectrum.
The MUšḫuššu is a mystical creature in the shape of a hybrid organism, splendor serpent, an homogeneous assemblage of transmitted and received undulatory disturbances.
Klaas Hübner is a sound sculptor, improviser, and instrument-builder whose installations coax out uncanny chants from whirly tubes, ceiling fans, styrofoam, and cassette tapes. He is active in the experimental music scene with his unique instrument the „tape guitar“ and his project SMOG.
Ioana Vreme Moser is engaged with transmedia narrations and electronic poetics. Her practice currently involves electro-mechanical instruments, small audio sculptures, kinetic installations, sound performances, soft video narrations and data compendiums.
