— the collaborative platform for sound and visual creation
MARGINAL

October 3-4: 6 PM – 8 PM
October 5-6: 4 PM – 8 PM

Welcome to the most important 3 minutes and 17 seconds. Because that’s how much an average song lasts on Spotify. And Marginal challenged 9 scientists, curators and theorists in the art & science field to say something really meaningful about the field in that exact amount of time. And Marginal also challenged 9 video artists to create video art work for a same duration of 3 minutes and 17 seconds. And also 3 sound artists – same rules. But there’s a catch – nobody knew what the others are saying or doing!

In this satirical take on inter-and trans-disciplinary approaches in art, 3’17” will actually convey important information about art, science, technology and collaborations across disciplines, all brought together in an interactive audio-visual immersive installation (see what we did there?).
