Crafting ex nihilo<\/strong><\/em>, the essence of Feldermelder’s innovative new live performance encapsulates the essence of creation itself. Emulating the dynamic forces of nature through the mediums of physicality, fluidity, and vibration, the experience unfolds as a spectral journey.
This live performance represents an evolutionary endeavor, continually metamorphosing to adopt various acoustic and visual forms. Despite its technical sophistication, the artist remains tethered to the tangible realm, prompting contemplation: does this blur the boundaries of reality, or does it merely simulate it? What if the realms of digital and analog physicality converge to the point of indistinguishability?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Feldermelder<\/strong><\/a> (Manuel Oberholzer) is a polymathic creative whose artistry spans composition, sound design, installation and code. He is also one of the co-founders of -OUS Records, a record label that has been at the forefront of electronic music in Switzerland. Besides that Feldermelder is an active member of Encor.studio, a collective of artists and designers who specialize in creating immersive audio-visual installations. He is also involved with the Swiss Museum & Center for Electronic Music Instruments (SMEM), where he is helping to preserve and promote the history and culture of electronic music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through his work, he explores the idea of secrecy and its impact on our lives, using music and sound to create a thought-provoking and immersive experience for his audience.\u2028Feldermelder often collaborates with a group of like-minded artists, including No\u00e9mi B\u00fcchi, Julian Sartorius, Sara Oswald, Davide Tomat and Afrorack, to create works that are deeply introspective and evocative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
