Alex Deak is an experimental musician and visual artist based in Bucharest, best known as the sound architect and conceptual coordinator of the avant-garde industrial metal band FRIG. Within the band, Alex orchestrates spectral soundscapes and atmospheric synthesizer compositions, defining an identity driven by the fusion of science and abstract textures (We Connect Science with Sounds), while also creating the entire visual artwork for the albums vid nocturn'' and genOm EP.
Through his electronic project f v n g v m, the artist explores the biorhythm of a micro-world wrapped in dark, spiritual echoes. Here, techno beats pulse alongside ancient sonic atmospheres, shifting across large-scale frequencies into a profound omnipresence that transcends terrestrial forms, all punctuated by visuals in absent structures.

As part of his current, ongoing cultural project Sound Lines – From Avant-Garde to Immersive, the artist delivers a monochrome live performance on a mono-synth, built around Xenakian structures, electronic ciné-beats and atmospheres induced by a timeless granular approach.
